Two women electrocuted in Jayankondam

Jayankondam: In a pathetic tragedy, two women were electrocuted when they came in contact with a live snapped wire in an agriculture field at kallathur-Melur village near Jayankondam in Ariyalur district on Friday. Police said, the deceased were identified as Mrs.Thangam (55) and Mrs. Saraswathi (60) of the same village. Police removed the bodies of the deceased to the Government Hospital at Jayankondam for post-mortem.
