Infra Boost for IIITDM: Collector Urges Swift Action on Roads, Water and Power

Kurnool: In a review meeting on the infrastructure needs of IIITDM at
Jagannathagattu, district collector G. Srijana directed officials on
Thursday to expedite essential infrastructure development. She specifically
instructed the panchayat raj department officials to ensure the completion
of the road leading to IIITDM from the main road by December 15.

Further, the collector mandated the digging of bore wells in adjacent government land as a temporary measure for water supply until a permanent solution is in
place.

The collector also explained plans to reroute the HT power lines passing
through the institution. Addressing the construction of the college’s
protection wall, she said she would discuss it with R and B principal
secretary P.S. Pradyumna, who is currently on election duty in Mizoram, to
discuss needed measures for its construction.
