Car topples on PVNR Expressway, man escapes unhurt
Victim was wearing a seatbelt and the safety airbags in the car also opened up.
Hyderabad: An Air India (AI) employee had a miraculous escape when the car in which he was travelling overturned on the PVNR Expressway. The man identified as Vamshi was on his way to the airport to report to work.
According to the police, Vamshi, a resident of Mehdipatnam, is working with Indian Airlines at the Rajiv Gandhi International Air-port. On Friday afternoon, he was heading towards the airport in his car and he lost control of the vehicle and it overturned. Since the vehicle was at a high speed, it jumped onto the other side of the road. As there was no vehicle movement on both sides of the road, he was saved.
“He was wearing a seatbelt and the safety airbags in the car also opened up when the incident occurred due to which he escaped unhurt,” said Mr T. Ashok Kumar, inspector, Rajendranagar traffic.
