Thrissur: The uncle of Jishnu Pranoy who committed suicide has filed a complaint with Pazhayannur police on Monday saying it is shrouded in mystery and needed a detailed inquiry.
Even though Pazhayannur police refused to divulge the contents of the complaint filed Mahesh K., sources close to him said there were suspicious marks on his body, and he was beaten up.
Students who requested anonymity said there was a chamber to torture students in the college and this room is that of PRO of the college, Sanjith Viswanathan, son of former state forest minister and Congress leader K. P. Viswanathan.

DC had also learnt from the sources close to the college that the roommate of the Jishnu has not yet spoken to his friends and relatives to reveal what actually happened before he ended his life.
