Govt official suspended for mishandling Praja Palana applications

Hyderabad: GHMC commissioner Ronald Rose on Tuesday suspended the Hayathnagar tax section circle-3 supervisor, M. Mahender, for allegedly mishandling the Praja Palana application forms collected from the public.

The action was based on a viral video, wherein the forms were spotted scattered on the road when a biker ferrying them had a fall on the Balanagar flyover.

Passersby immediately recorded the video and questioned the man why he had these forms, to which he was recorded saying that he worked for the agency that was given the job of data entry.
