Nizamabad: BJP alleges 1.25 lakh bogus votes
Arvind said that they will approach the High Court in regards to the bogus voters issue soon.
Nizamabad: The state BJP leaders have complained that around 1.25 lakh bogus votes were enrolled under the Nizamabad Parliamentary constituency limits.
BJP state executive committee member Arvind Dharmapuri and other leaders met the chief electoral officer, Rajath Kumar in Hyderabad and submitted a memorandum to the district revenue officer M. Anjaiah here on Saturday.
Mr Arvind said that of the 1.25 lakh bogus votes, 47,000 votes enrolled in the Nizamabad Urban Assembly constituency. He said that they find the bogus votes details along with the electoral photo identity card numbers.
Mr Arvind said, “Especially among minority women, it was found that each of them have three to five EPIC cards. They BJP leaders alleged that the ruling TRS leaders were aware about the bogus votes.
Mr Arvind said that they will approach the High Court in regards to the bogus voters issue soon.
“We will also complain to the Election Commission about the bogus votes under the Nizamabad Parliamentary constituency” he said.
TRS leaders are accurately predicted winning various Assembly constituencies as they are aware about the bogus votes, he said.
BJP district president Palle Ganga Reddy, Baswa Laxminarsaiah, Swamy, Nyalam Raju and others were present.
