New Delhi: In a viral video that surfaced online, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bangladeshi counterpart were asked to ‘step down’ on Monday in a gaffe, evoking much laughter from the crowd.
Modi, who hosted a joint press conference with Hasina at Hyderabad House in New Delhi, were on the podium when the announcer for the photo shoot asked the Prime Ministers to come together.
However, he ended up saying, “May I ask the two Prime Ministers to step down,” which made it seem like he was asking them to resign from their posts.
