Vijayawada: Telugu Desam (TD) will stop its protests by MPs in Delhi for a while. The Strategy Committee chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met on Monday and took important decisions.

Firstly, it directed its MPs to return to their constituencies for the fight here and also asked them to get ready for a Bus Yatra which is to be organised in two to three days. The Strategic Committee also decided to establish Anna Canteens and to give stipend to the unemployed.

Mr Naidu started exercising a long-run strategy and intensified protests to achieve unfulfilled bifurcation commitments and Special Status.

Mr Naidu wants his MPs from Delhi to demonstrate and present before the public the attitude of the Union government as they intensively protested in Delhi. The TD’s plan is to capture the support of public with the MPs, who fought with the Union government continuously, besides Mr Naidu’s two- day Delhi tour.

Mr Naidu appreciated the efforts of the MPs in protesting in Delhi and lauded that their protests inspired many.
