In a press conference held on Wednesday, Tech For All, a Chennai based NGO, pointed out the glaring mistakes which would have confused Neet aspirants in the common medical entrance test that was held on May 6.
In question number 75 in biology section, the word Cheeta was translated as 'Seetha' in Tamil and bat which is known as 'Vowaal' in Tamil was translated as Vovnaval. Like that there were 68 translation errors in 49 questions.
"These errors will confuse the students and thinking of negative marks many students not even attempted these questions," G.B. Ram Prakash, founder or Tech For All said.
The NGO trained 3,500 students hailing from poor families for Neet in the virtual platform. "Students can overlook a few errors, but 49 errors are too much to decode given that they get the same time as other students.
