Telangana and Andhra Pradesh medical students say Eamcet-2 tough
Telangana Eamcet-2 was tougher than Eamcet-1 held in May, according to candidates.
Hyderabad: An almost perfect 90 per cent attendance was registered at the TS Eamcet-2 (medical test) that was held at various centres across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. And it’s claimed that organisers gave a tough paper testing the abilities of the candidates.
Except for incidents of latecomers not being allowed inside the JNTU’s Kukatpally campus and at a few regional centres in Nalgonda, the exam went off smoothly, Convenor N.V.Ramana Rao said. Out of the 56,153 candidates who registered for the exam, 50,964 candidates wrote the test taking attendance percentage to 90.76.
Even at AP’s four regional centres — Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Kurnool, the attendance was nearly 86 percent. The answer key was released in the evening and objections will be received till July 12. Results will be announced on July 14.

K.Chander, who wrote the test in Hyderabad, said questions in biology were lengthy, making it difficult for candidates to attempt all 80 questions in time. But Physics and chemistry papers had a good number of problems which tested real skills, he said.
On the other hand a few parents expressed ire against officials at JNTU campus in Kukatpally for not making proper arrangements for them to wait near the test centre. But authorities said it was difficult to provide all facilities for the average of four to five people who had accompanied candidates.
