Hyderabad: All India Congress Committee General Secretary Digvijay Singh has slammed the “saffronised” section of the media for being “kind and considerate” towards him over the Zakir Naik controversy.

“Thanks for the free publicity. Dig out some more such cases. Put your full team to find everything against Digvijay. 4 year old issue of my sharing the stagewith Zakir Naik who doesn’t have a case against him played on the national media for more than 3 days,” he tweeted.

Calling it double standard, he said “Sanghi elements” have always been very “kind”  towards him. “We raised the issue in Parliament and the Modi government didn’t react. But the Modi bhakts were quiet then,” he said.
