CID arrests one more for Eamcet-II paper leak

The CID officials said that the accused had reportedly provided training to students with the leaked question paper at a camp held in Karnataka.

HYDERABAD: Officials of the Crime Investigation Department (CID) officials on Monday made one more arrest in the Eamcet-II medical question paper leak case. A final year MBBS student from Karnataka was arrested for allegedly indulging in TS Eamcet-II medical question paper leak case and providing training to students with the leaked question paper.

The accused has been identified as Ganesh Prasad, native of Vijayawada. He is a final year medical student from a Karnataka college. The CID officials said that the accused had reportedly provided training to students with the leaked question paper at a camp held in Karnataka. He had links with Vasu Babu, former dean of Sri Chaitanya and Siva Narayana Rao, who were arrested earlier in the case. Vasu Babu influenced Ganesh Prasad in providing training to students who were arranged by Vasu Babu by collecting amount.
