AP Man From Vizianagaram Dies in Uttarakhand Landslide

VISAKHAPATNAM: A 31-year-old man from Vizianagaram district was among three people killed when a private vehicle in which they were travelling was hit by a landslide and the vehicle fell into River Ganga in Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand on Sunday.

The tragic incident took place when the vehicle was heading towards
Rishikesh from Kedarnath carrying 11 persons, including women and the
driver. All of them fell into the river. Three were killed and three others
went missing while five persons were rescued. Among those killed was Ravi
Rao (31) years, a native of Boddam village in Rajam mandal. Rao’s wife has
been rescued and is said to be safe. Ravi was living in Hyderabad for the
past five years.
