Tribals richer than people in metros, says ESL Narasimhan

Visakhapatnam: Terming that tribals are richer than people in cities in terms of rich culture, scenic beauty and availability of organic food, AP and Telangana Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan expressed that Nature Cure Centre should be set up at Araku region. Participating as chief guest at the International Day of World’s Indigenous People’s (World Tribals Day) celebrations at Araku Valley in Vizag Agency on Wednesday, Mr Narasimhan said that there is urgent need to promote the Araku Tourism to attract the visitors from across the globe and to set up a permanent craft bazaar in Araku to display and sell the products such as coffee, pepper, millets, food grains, jewellery and few others of Araku region.

The Governor tasted pepper and said it is the hottest ever he tasted in his life. He was also impressed with beauties in Araku region and the famous coffee which he tasted on arrival. After the division of AP, the new state as called Sunrise AP (Navyandhra Pradesh) and similarly Araku to be renamed as Navya Araku, the Governor added.
