Eight panels set up by Telangana government to oversee global meet

Hyderabad: The state government on Monday constituted eight committees with senior officials to oversee conduct of the Global Entrepreneur Summit here from November 28 to 30. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event while US President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka will lead US delegation. About 1,500 entrepreneurs, investors and speakers from across the globe will attend the event.

The committees oversee city beautification, transportation, traffic management, reception, media coordination and security coordination committee.  Principal secretary, industries, Jayesh Ranjan has been entrusted the job of selecting invitees for the inaugural, delegates for the summit, selection of gifts.
