Nizamabad to get Rs 400-crore bonanza

Hyderabad: TRS MP K. Kavitha thanked her brother and minister K.T. Rama Rao for agreeing to sanction Rs 350 crore for improving amenities in municipalities in Nizamabad district. She also expressed her gratitude to the minister for sanctioning Rs 50 crore for construction of an IT Tower in Nizamabad.

Ms Kavitha and Nizamabad MLA Ganesh Gupta called on Mr Rama Rao on Monday. Speaking to mediapersons later, Ms Kavitha said they were aiming to inaugurate the IT Tower by Dasara next year. She said the TS Industrial Infrastructure Corporation has been directed to identify land the IT Tower.

She said the government had agreed to sanction Rs 50 crore each to five municipalities in the district and Rs 100 crore for the Nizamabad Municipal Corporation.
