Traffic Advisory Issued for Prime Minister Modi\'s Hyderabad Visit
Traffic diversions will be in place in the city from 2pm to 8pm on Saturday
Hyderabad: In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the city to address a public meeting at Parade Ground in Secunderabad on Saturday, Hyderabad traffic police have issued an advisory regarding restrictions from 2 pm to 8 pm on Saturday.
Police advised motorists to avoid the road from Panjagutta to Secunderabad via Begumpet as congestion was expected on the thoroughfare as well as on roads surrounding the Parade Ground. The road between Tivoli Crossroads and Plaza Crossroads will be closed. Police also advised commuters to avoid MG Road, RP Road and SD Road between 2 pm and 10 pm.
Police said all road junctions in and around a three-km radius around Parade Ground could face traffic congestion. Further, passengers intending to travel by evening trains from Secunderabad railway station and by RTC buses at the Jubilee bus station are advised to start early and also utilise the Metro Rail service.
Police also said that the traffic on all roads surrounding Parade Ground would be diverted and stopped on a need basis.
