Rural art to greet Telugu meet guests
The city has been receiving artists from different parts of the state who will paint walls on different stretches in the central zone.
Hyderabad: After the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), the city is yet again getting spruced up for the World Telugu Conference that begins on December 15. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, which maintained the south and western parts of the city for the GES, has now shifted its focus on the central parts with artists engaged in wall paintings depicting the rural culture of Telangana. The city has been receiving artists from different parts of the state who will paint walls on different stretches in the central zone for the World Telugu Conference.
Paintings would be done at several important landmarks, including the Chief Minster’s Camp Office, Ravindra Bharati, LB Stadium, Somajiguda and Lakdikapool. The paintings will exhibit several art forms, including folk dances, culture, heritage and the livelihood of the people of Telangana.
