Congress party workers protest against demonetisation at Town Hall in Bengaluru on Tuesday

Bengaluru: Launching a scathing attack on BJP leaders, KPCC Working President, Dinesh Gundu Rao on Tuesday said they need to set their house in order  before criticising others (Congress).

Speaking at the party's protest rally against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's move to demonetise high denomination currency, Mr Rao quipped that  BJP state president, B.S. Yeddyurappa and the party leader in the Legislative Council, K. S. Eshwarappa are already at war with each other. "Such being the case, what moral right do these party leaders have to comment on the Congress party's internal affairs?," he shot back.

According to him, the BJP  is a divided house even before the  elections in 2018 and one can imagine how the party might behave in case they win the polls. "This is our best  chance to come back to power, therefore, party workers need to work hard to convey to people the feuds and fights  among top leaders between 2008-14 when the BJP was in power," he explained.
