BJP to engage voters in multi-lingual campaign

Chennai: The BJP is likely to campaign in style for the May 16 poll in Tamil Nadu. The state will see the BJP leaders from the neighouring states engaging voters in a multi-lingual campaign with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s achievements.

The BJP leaders from Karnataka have promised to take up campaign for the party in the Kannadiga dominated areas, especially Hosur, Krishnagiri, Erode and Coimatore. While Kerala leaders would hit the campaign trail in Kanyakumari, bordering God’s own country, those from Andhra Pradesh too are expected to join the numerous national leaders. “A schedule of the various leaders’ campaign of the constituencies will be readied soon. This will be finalised in consultation with the party high command,” a BJP senior said.

Sources in the party here anticipate Union Parliamentary affairs minister M. Venkaiah Naidu to pep up the campaign.
