Hyderabad: Offender involved in 22 cases nabbed

Hyderabad: Bowenpally police nabbed a property offender who is suspected to be involved in nine house burglaries and bike theft cases, and recovered seven bikes worth at least Rs 2.5 lakh from him. The accused, Ahmed Pasha, 21, a resident of Hasmathpet in Alwal, works as a labourer, said police, adding that he is a notorious offender and has committed 22 offences till now.

“Bowenpally police has booked cases against him at their station and at other police stations in Hyderabad. Recently, he was arrested by Balanagar police and was jailed in July last, and was released from the Chanchalguda prison in December,” police said. After his release, he again started committing offences. Ahmed Pasha, nabbed at Old Bowenpally, was produced before a court which sent him in judicial remand.
