N Chandrababu Naidu's double standards exposed: YSR Congress
After the two ministers pulled out, they have been staking tall claims though it was TD that has discouraged SCS.
Vijayawada: YSR Congress has said that the double standards of CM Chandrababu Naidu had come to the fore once again with the two MPs pulling out of the Cabinet but the party is continuing in the coalition and TD is not announcing its future course of action in the Parliament with regard to the Special Category Status (SCS).
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, party spokesperson K. Parthasarathi said, “though the two ministers had pulled out of the Cabinet, TD is still continuing in the coalition and not announcing its course of action and speaking ill of the proposal of no trust vote and resignations showing to what level Chandrababu Naidu can stoop to.”
“After the two ministers pulled out, they have been staking tall claims though it was TD that has discouraged SCS throughout and Chandrababu Naidu himself stating that SCS is not a wonder drug and now taking U-turn shows his raw opportunism,”. Mr Parthasarathi further said that even when they have taken the step, they are not sincere on the issue as Chandrababu Naidu has toned down his speech on the SCS. He is now telling there is no use of the no-confidence motion and the resignations as they will not fetch any results. YSRC chief planning to move the no-trust motion on March 21.
