Karnataka: CBSE, ICSE school fee hike won't be over 10 percent

Bengaluru: ICSE and CBSE schools in the city will not increase the annual fee more than 10% in an academic year. A decision in this regard was taken at the Special Annual General Meeting (SAGM) of the combined associations of ICSE and CBSE schools in Karnataka on April 7. Representatives from more than 200 schools attended the meeting and unanimously agreed not to increase the fee by more than 10% in an academic year. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Mohan Manghnani, president, ICSE Schools' Association and Chairman of New Horizon Educational Institution.
