Maulana Azad Urdu Varsity inks MoU with Al-Mustafa International University

The MoU will remain in force for a period of three years.

Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Al-Mustafa International University (MIU), Iran. Both Universities will collaborate in the field of Humanities, Culture, History, Persian, Arabic, Urdu languages & literature, Management, Mass Communication and Islamic Studies.

As part of the programme, Mustafa International University will extend cooperation and support to establish the Quli Qutub Shah Chair at MANUU to identify joint projects.

The MoU was signed by Dr. M.A. Sikandar, Registrar, MANUU & Dr. Mohammad Reza Saleh, Chief Representative of MIU in the presence of Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice-Chancellor, MANUU and Prof. Ali Abbasi, Vice-Chancellor & Dr. Hameed Jazaeri, Registrar of MIU.

Both sides agreed to promote and broaden the activities of both institutions with the vision that it would be a new phase in rejuvenating Indo-Iran relations in order to facilitate research and mutual exchanges of scholars.

The MoU will remain in force for a period of three years.
