Metro to run till IPL final end: Rachakonda traffic police
Reportedly, a total of 500 police personnel will be deployed for security and regulating traffic in view of finale match.
Hyderabad: With the city set to host the IPL final, the Rachakonda traffic cops, in an attempt to improve the match-going experience for fans, are making special arrangements for the match.
Taking its learnings from 2017, the traffic police are arranging for a bigger parking space. It has also requested the metro to run till the completion of match.
Md. Tajuddin Ahmed Additional DCP, Rachakonda traffic said, “We have increased the parking areas and requested the metro to run till the completion of match so that the spectators who came to Uppal stadium can commute easily and reach their destination”.
Reportedly, a total of 500 police personnel will be deployed for security and regulating traffic in view of finale match.
The traffic at LG godown from Ramanthapur road and at Ek minar from Habsiguda towards stadium will be restricted.
According to the traffic cops, the heavy vehicle on Chengicherla, Nagole bridge, Nacharam- Habsiguda bridge, NFC bridge were also restricted at these places. Total 10 parking places at Genpact, Church school, DSL mall and others were identified.
