Mob turns violent, Dileep's business firms attacked

The firms run by Dileep faced the wrath of youth organisations of the Congress and the BJP in different parts of the state.

KOCHI: The firms run by Dileep faced the wrath of youth organisations of the Congress and the BJP in different parts of the state after the actor was arrested at Aluva on Monday. Yuva Morcha activists smashed the glass screens of De Putt restaurant in Kozhikode before police took charge of the scene. In anticipation of the attack, police was amply deployed in front of the firms of Dileep.

Yuva Morcha and Congress activists marched to the De Putt restaurant at Edappally in Kochi and declared that they will not allow the restaurant to open. The heavy police posse could handle the Youth Congress protest march to D-Cinema, the multiplex owned by Dileep at Chalakkudy. Dileep, K B Ganesh Kumar and Mukesh were burnt in effigy at a few places including Pathanapuram.
