Telangana: Row over Nirmal collectorate

Hyderabad: The construction of one-stop collectorate complexes in 28 new district headquarters will be completed in six months. 

Chief Secretary S.P. Singh and DGP Anurag Sharma held a video  conference with collectors of 28 districts to review the work and finalise locations where land was not allotted.

The Nirmal collector proposed land at Bhimunigutta near Ellapally, home village of minister A. Indrakaran Reddy. Locals alleged the minister bought pressure to finalise this location to increase the land rate. Some experts pointed to vastu defects.
