14,000 schools affiliated to TRSMA support bandh

The varsity informed the students the Pre-PhD exam had been rescheduled for 2 pm on Tuesday.

The best schools under the rankings were finalised after a survey conducted across 12, 214 educationists, principals, teachers, parents and students in 27 cities and education hubs pan India, claims the researchers.

Hyderabad: Most schools with the Telangana Recognised Schools Management Associations (TRSMA) observed bandh on Monday. Associations president Srinivas Reddy, “Almost all the schools under the TRSMA were closed today because of a request by Opposition parties. About 14,000 schools were closed on behalf of TRSMA because we support the bandh in view of the high price rice of fuel.”

Osmania University students woke up on Monday morning to texts from the administration stating that exams had been postponed in view of the Bharat bandh.  The varsity informed the students the Pre-PhD exam had been rescheduled for 2 pm on Tuesday. 

The schedule for the other postponed exams would be released soon, registrar Gopal Reddy said. National Students' Union of India general secretary Md Sohailuddin said the group shut down engineering, degree and junior colleges and schools which were open on Monday.
