KAKINADA: TD chief Chandrababu Naidu has entered the Central Jail at Rajamahendravaram by 1.20 am on Monday. Rajamahendravaram Central Jail officials allocated 'Sneha Block' in the central jail to the former chief minister who was remanded to 14-day judicial custody in skill development scam case.

The jail authorities shifted prisoners in the Sneha Block to other barracks, as part of security arrangements. The prison officials allocated Number 7691 to the former chief minister.

With the TD chief's admission, the prison officials have beefed up security. Additional 300 cops have been deployed near the Central Jail and 36 police pickets have been set up in Rajamahendravaram City. The police allowed only Chandrababu Naidu's car into the central jail compound and stopped other vehicles including Nara Lokesh's car at the entry. 

Meanwhile, the party workers who reached the central jail registered a protest against Naidu's arrest.
