Chandrababu Naidu gets separate room in Central Jail
Kakinada: Rajahmundry Central Jail officials have allocated a separate room for former chief minister and TD supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu in the jail.
The separate room is as per directions given by Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases at Vijayawada.
As per the special judge, Naidu is to be produced before the court on September 22. has asked
The judge gave clear instructions to the jail superintendent that Chandrababu (73) be provided all special amenities including food (cooked at home), medication and a special room. The judge underlined that he be provided sufficient and strict security, and accommodated separately in view of purported threat to his life.
Lights put off as Naidu taken to jail
Lights remained switched off across the National Highway from Vijayawada to Rajamahendravaram, while Chandrababu Naidu was being taken to the Rajahmundry Central Jail.
Large contingents of police had been deployed in all junctions along the route.
