Defence official hears case for road closure

Hyderabad: Additional Secretary, Defence, Subhash Chandra IAS visited the headquarters of Telangana and Andhra Sub Area, Secunderabad, on Saturday. He was briefed on security-related aspects, including civil-military joint operations as well as initiatives in connection with humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. 

He was also briefed on implications of the orders on opening of military roads. 

Mr Subhash Chandra and Major General N. Srinivas Rao also discussed various land-related issues, including the Strategic Road Development Project, encroachment of Defence land and land exchange matters.
