Bandi says NH-563 four-lane work to start very soon

WARANGAL: BJP state chief and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday announced that road-widening works of National Highway-563 from Jagtial to Warangal via Karimnagar will start very soon.

He disclosed this after holding a review meeting with officials of central roads and transport department, including its regional officer S.K. Kushwaha, in Hyderabad. He discussed with Kushwaha also the road-widening works of National Highway765-DG from Elkaturthy to Medak via Siddipet.

The central officials informed the MP that the 58.86-km highway from Jagtial to Karimnagar will be constructed at an estimated cost of ₹2,151.63 crore. The 68-km stretch from Karimnagar to Warangal will involve an expenditure of ₹2,148.86 crore. “Tenders have already been finalised and works will start very soon,” the central officials informed the state BJP chief.

Incidentally, National Highway 765-DG from Elkaturthy to Medak via Siddipet had been sanctioned by central government after the MP took the initiative. The highway falls within the Karimnagar parliament constituency, which Sanjay represents.

Incidentally, NH 765-DG from Elkaturthy to Medak via Siddipet and Bodhan to Bhainsa via Basara, apart from Sironcha to Mahadevpur will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he visits Ramagundam on Saturday. In this regard, the Karimnagar MP ordered central officials to make all the necessary arrangements.
