Hyderabad: Bus hits truck in bid to avoid biker, 1 killed

Hyderabad: Four people were injured and one died after a bus rammed into a parked lorry in an attempt to dodge a biker riding on the wrong side.
The accident occurred on the Bengaluru-Hyderabad Highway at around 9.30 am on Monday morning near Jadcherla.
The victims were identified as Radha, 50, a school teacher who was standing near the driver's seat to buy a ticket, police said.
“The bus was on its way to Hyderabad, when it rammed a lorry parked near a roadside dhaba on NH 44, to avoid hitting a biker riding on the wrong route. Four people were injured, 11 sustained minor injuries and one woman was killed,” said the Jadcherla town police inspector, Balraju.
He added that the bus started from Mahbubnagar at around 8.30 am and the accident occurred about 10 kilometres into the journey.
