Telangana: Veerabhadra temple work to begin soon

HYDERABAD: State ministers A. Indrakaran Reddy, T. Harish Rao and Tummala Nageswara Rao will be laying foundation stone for development works worth Rs 5 crore at the famous Kuravi Veerabhadra Swamy temple in Mahabubabad district on Friday.

Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had announced the money to develop the temple while offering bangaru meesalu (gold moustache) to the presiding diety in February last year to fulfill the votive.

Mr Reddy said Rs 75 lakh would be used for construction of a prakara mandapam, Rs 1.6 crore for two satrams.
