Terrorists? Arrest us: BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for describing workers of BJP, RSS and Bajrang Dal as terrorists.
BENGALURU: Lambasting Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for describing workers of BJP, RSS and Bajrang Dal as terrorists, leaders of the state unit of BJP decided to launch a 'jail bharo' protest across the state, beginning Friday.
Member of Parliament and state unit general secretary, Shobha Karandlaje, told the media that workers would target Mr Siddaramaiah and KPCC working president Dinesh Gundurao for describing RSS and BJP as terror organizations. "Our appeal to Mr. Siddaramaiah and Mr. Dinesh Gundurao is to arrest and put us in jail as we are all terrorists roaming the streets.
According to our Chief Minister, we are dangerous people. We need to be in jail, and hence this jail bharo programme," she added.
Demanding an apology from the Chief Minister and KPCC working president for describing BJP, RSS and Bajrang Dal as terror organizations, she said a soft approach of the Congress towards terrorism cost the party two tall leaders, the late Mrs Indira Gandhi and Mr Rajiv Gandhi.
In addition, the Congress supported Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and the Khalistan movement because of which Punjab bled for one decade. Likewise, the party secretly supported the LTTE, and has clandestine links with various factions of the Naxal movement. "Can the Congress deny these facts and harsh realities?", she asked.
