Bengaluru: Raid on prostitution den nets Congress leader, gets bail
Granted conditional bail to Congress leader and sent the other three to judicial custody.
Bengaluru: The 45th ACMM court on Sunday granted conditional bail to the Tumakuru district Congress president R. Ramakrishna, who was caught by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) along with a prostitute during a raid at a guest house in Doddabidarakallu.
Ramakrishna was arrested by the CCB along with the kingpins in the prostitution racket, who have been identified as Raju, Mahantesh and Shilpa.
Based on a tip-off the CCB sleuths conducted a raid on February 10. Ramakrishna, who had gone to the guest house as a customer, was caught in the act. The three kingpins were also present at the guest house.
The CCB sleuths had produced Ramakrishna and the three kingpins before the 45th ACMM court judge justice Chandrashekhar at his residence.
He granted conditional bail to Congress leader and sent the other three to judicial custody.
