Telangana: 71 minority schools to open

HYDERABAD: The Telangana government will inaugurate 71 Minority Residential Schools on Monday as part of its decision to open 121 new schools this academic year.

B. Shafiullah,  secretary for Telangana Minorities Resident-ial Educational Instit-utions Society, said  that the remaining 50 new schools will be opened within this week.

The government has transferred 12 existing  residential scho-ols and two junior colleges from Telangana Residential Educational Institutions (TREI) Society to TMREIS. taking the total number of TMR schools or colleges in the state to 206, he said.
