Improve Govt schools infrastructure, education, chancellor Dr.G.Viswanathan pleads
A country which provides good quality education will not only progress in education but also in all fields, including economy.
Chennai: The VIT Chancellor Dr.G.Viswanathan urged the Centre and State Governments to improve quality of infrastructure and education in government schools so that more children would be admitted in Government schools across the state. "Government should also consider admitting the children of government employees in Government schools. The move will go a long way in improving the quality of education in the Government schools," he said.
In a function marked to felicitate headmasters of 69 Government and aided schools in Vellore district, which secured 100 percent pass percentage in class 10 and 12 Government exams, Dr. G.
