Anantapur: Amarnath yatra pilgrims from Nellore and Prakasam districts were still waiting for transportation to return from Srinagar, when reports last came in.
Information and broadcasting minister Palle Raghunath Reddy said all arrangements were being made for the safe return of the pilgrims.
Special buses have been arranged to pick up the Telugu pilgrims from the places they were stuck at, and these buses would drop the pilgrims at the airport, he said.
“The pilgrims would be brought to AP Bhavan from where they would be sent to their native places,” the minister said and assured their families that they should not worried about their security.
