Hyderabad: Low voltage, voltage fluctuations, blowouts and other such power problems have been plaguing people living in the twin cities.
In Banjara Hills road number 12, there has been no power supply since Tuesday morning. Sources in the electricity department said during the Bonalu, power supply to pandals causes overloading in some areas which causes low voltage.
Chief general manager of Hyderabad Transco, U. Vidyasagar said that the electricity department has done no maintenance work in the past week due to the Bonalu. The work was taken up only on Tuesday and so power supply was stopped in many areas, including Banjara Hills.
He insisted that enough power is available in the twin cities. But despite this, people of the twin cities are making several complaints.
