BMRCL, let's step up security on metros, stations

Bengaluru: There are 40 private security guards and 60-70 CCTV cameras at each Metro station and KISF (Karnataka State Industrial Security Force) personnel and several private agency security guards. 

Yet, look around and you can pick out just about 4 to 5 KISF personnel at each station. Where are the rest of the staff? Who ensures that the significant proportion of women among the 3.2 lakh commuters on Namma Metro, will not get the same treatment that they did when they commuted on the streets of the city?
