HYDERABAD: In their bid to spread awareness among students on tackling cyberbullying and drug abuse, Rachakonda police organised an ‘Anti-ragging and anti-drug awareness’ programme at Anurag University here on Friday.

Addressing over 200 students present on the occasion, Rachakonda police commissioner D.S. Chauhan underscored the importance of combating ragging, drug use and harassing women, as each of them can adversely impact a student’s future if not checked early. He cautioned them against falling prey to cyber-bullying and vices like drug abuse.

Group Chairman and BRS MLC Dr Palla Rajeshwar Reddy spoke about the institution’s role in fostering a positive environment by urging students to focus on their careers.
