30-year-old sanitation worker died due to electrocution in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 30-year-old sanitation worker was electrocuted at Balapura Basti HMWS & SB office near Banjara Hills Road No. 1.

Police said that T. Hymavathi of NBT Nagar along with her husband Nageswar Rao, who is a sanitation worker, was at work near the waterworks office in the early hours of Sunday.

While she was working near the tank room, her eye was hit by a low-tension hanging cable. Police suspect that the cable got cut on Saturday and no one saw it.
