Tamil Nadu: Brother-sister duo commit suicide

Chennai: A brother-sister duo committed suicide by jumping into their farm well near Manali on Monday. The deceased were identified as C Vedhanayagi (40) and C Nagendran (38). Police said that the two of them were depressed as they could not get married. Their father, Chinnaraj died two months ago and they lived with their mother, Karpagam who was mentally challenged. Meanwhile, on Sunday, the two of them were missing from the home and after searches, their bodies were found in the farm well nearby. Police recovered their bodies and moved them to the Government Stanley hospital for post mortem.
