Army foils infiltration bid in Jammu and Kashmir's Tangdhar

An Army official said an operation has been launched and further details are awaited.

Srinagar: Army on Wednesday foiled an infiltration bid by militants from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Tangdhar sector of Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir.

"An infiltration bid was foiled by Army in Tangdhar sector," an Army official said.

He said an operation has been launched and further details are awaited.
