Hyderabad: Two school buses caught fire in Miyapur on Friday. The buses, belonging to Janapriya school, were parked on the school campus when they caught fire. The children had got down from the bus and had gone to their classes. Miyapur police said the blaze started in one bus and spread to the other.
Both vehicles got totally engulfed in fire within minutes. Though a fire tender came to the spot and extinguished the blaze, the buses were heavily damaged.
“The reason for the fire is not known. No one was injured. All students had got out of the buses. As per the school management’s complaint we booked a case,” said Miyapur inspector K. Ramesh.
