Hyderabad: Increasing burden of debts forced a 65-year-old weaver to end his life in Rajanna Sircilla district on Saturday.
Vodnala Sattaiah hanged himself at his residence in Sircilla town. This is the second suicide of a weaver in the district this week. Both the incidents were reported from minister K.T. Rama Rao’s constituency.
On Monday, Samala Nagabushanam, 60, a weaver from Sircilla, consumed pesticide and attempted suicide.
Sattaiah, a resident of BY Nagar, ran into debts after his daughter’s marriage a few years ago. The son-in-law threw her out of the house, and she was staying at her paternal home.
