He feeds the poor and provides them shelter: Krishnappa

BENGALURU: Housing Minister Krishnappa has remarked that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is one of the best chief minister's he has seen in his political career spanning over 30 years.
While inaugurating various developmental works at Govindarajanagar and Vijaynagar assembly constituency on Saturday, he lauded the Chief Minister for introducing all kinds of ‘Bhagya' for the welfare of people from all sections. His popular 'Anna Bhagya' scheme has successfully eradicated hunger among the poor, he added.
As for the developmental works in the two constituencies, Mr Krishnappa said, "Title deeds have been given to 444 slum dwellers. Rs 8 crore have been provided to slum dwellers to construct homes. Have give 49,000 rations cards and process is on to give another 15,000. Permission has been granted to build 4,480 homes for the needy at both Vijaynagar and Govindarajanagar assembly constituencies."
CM Siddaramaiah laid the foundation stone for developmental works in Vijaynagar and Govindarajanagar to the tune of Rs 415 crore. It includes construction of concrete road, footpath, drinking water unit, underpass, swimming pool, developmental of Vrushabhavathi stormwater drain, construction of library, installation of 60 CCTV cameras and white topping of four major roads falling under both constituencies.
Govindarajanagar MLA Priya Krishna said that an app has been developed, which can be downloaded from Google Playstore, to raise problems faced by the residents of his constituency.
