Ravi Belagere is like Sunny Leone, says Agni Sridhar
He said, \"Belagere could have sorted things out with Sunil Heggaravalli by talking to him.\"
Bengaluru: Editor of 'Hai Bangalore' Ravi Belagere made sex and crime his business and depicted only that in his tabloid to grab public's attention. He is more like Kannada's Sunny Leone," commented Agni Sridhar, a reformed mafia don and owner of Agni magazine, at a press meet on Monday.
He said, "Belagere has been accused of an offence and I didn't think it is the right time to talk. But my friends forced me to talk. He is a journalist and has been forgetting what his goals are. He seems to be going off track. Let's just hope that he gets out of this situation soon."
He said, "Two years ago, Belagere had written an article about women, where he had used foul language to describe them and disrespected them. At least after this incident, I hope he changes for good."
Sridhar said, "Belagere hosted a TV show called Crime Diary, where he walked on city streets with a few men carrying long machetes, which was mainly to scare the public and display his power. I could not control my laughter after seeing that. He had taunted me when I was about to start my magazine."
He said, "Belagere could have sorted things out with Sunil Heggaravalli by talking to him. He shouldn't have called Sunil over the phone. There is a difference between doing bad and committing crime."
