Vijayawada: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has sacked the controversial managing director of A.P. Med Tech Zone, Jitendra Sharma, who has been facing allegations of large-scale misappropriation of funds.
Deccan Chronicle, in its November 30 report “Large scale financial scam in Med Tech Zone unearthed,” had highlighted the financial and procedural irregularities committed by Jitendra Sharma with the blessings of senior bureaucrat and the then principal secretary (health) Poonam Malakondaiah.
